Prof. Alon Scope is the director of the Kittner Skin Cancer Screening & Research Institute at Sheba Medical Center, an associate professor of dermatology at Tel Aviv University,
and a dermatology research faculty member at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center
(MSKCC)

His research focuses on non-invasive imaging of skin neoplasms. He is an executive board member of the International Dermoscopy Society, leader of the diagnosis project for ISIC – the International Skin Imaging Collaboration, chair of the Israeli Dermoscopy Society, and 'Technology Pearls' section editor for the JAAD

In recognition of his research achievements, Prof. Alon Scope received in 2009 the “Paolo Carli Award for Scientific Excellence and Leading Contributions to Dermoscopic Research"; in 2016, the Israel Science Foundation Freedenberg research award; and in 2017, the Teva Founders research award. He was also a keynote speaker at the World Congress of Dermoscopy in Australia (2012), Vienna (2015), and Thessaloniki (2018), and keynote speaker at the World Congress of Confocal Microscopy in Rome (2018)
