Prof. Alex Zvulunov

Chairman of the Department of Dermatology, Soroka University Medical Center and the Faculty of Health Sciences, Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, Beer-Sheva Israel.

Alex Zvulunov, MD, MHA is Associated Professor in Pediatrics and Dermatology at the Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, Beer-Sheva Israel. He graduated in medicine at the Sackler Faculty of Medicine and in health administration at the Ben-Gurion University. Dr. Zvulunov completed residency in Pediatrics at the Beilinson Medical Center and residency in Dermatology at Soroka University Medical Center. He completed clinical fellowship in Pediatric Dermatology under the mentorship of Prof. Nancy Esterly at the Children's Hospital of Wisconsin, Milwaukee, WI, USA.

Following his medical trainings, Dr. Zvulunov served as the head of the Department of Pediatrics at Yoseftal Medical Center, Eilat (1998-2004), as a senior Pediatric Dermatologist at Schneider Children's Medical Center of Israel (2004-2017) and since 2017 serves had been appointed as the Chairman of the Department of Dermatology at Soroka University Medical Center. He has served as the Secretary of the Israeli Society of Dermatology and Venereology and is a Board member of the Israeli Society of Pediatric Dermatology.

Dr. Zvulunov current professional interests are focused on patient care, research and medical education in clinical pediatric and general dermatology
